My Love...

This is my guy, my true love. Isn't he handsome! He's the man I moved here for and he's wonderful. Without his love and support I wouldn't be a photographer. He's got a fantastic sense of humor (remember Botox Daddy?) and he works more than anyone I know...for us. Of course none of us are perfect, we all leave things lying around from time to time :-) and there are days we want to lay around ourselves. He's there for me when I need him though and that's comforting. I wouldn't exchange him for the world! Thanks for the girls night out honey, I love you.

Me! Me! Me!

Well It's about time you all had a chance to see who I am. I actually don't like to have my picture taken and no picture is ever good enough to show so I'm taking a leap here into unknown territory! I think most of you who meet me think I'm a very outgoing person. I guess in a lot of ways I am but I think (and I guess I would know) a lot of my "outgoing" personality is there because I never wanted attention for being shy or quiet. I couldn't be perceived as weak. Growing up, well I don't know if that wouldn't have worked so well.
These were taken in Chicago last year. It was a fantastic trip. Actually it was a turning point in my life. I realized a lot about myself and after some frightening news over the past year I knew now was quite possibly the only chance I'd have to go for my dreams. I know that tomorrow may not always be there at least not as I know it today. I realized I'm not immortal, for the very first time. Yep, it was definitely a turning point for me and I'm more fulfilled now than ever because of it. My husband - WOW an unbelievable man. I couldn't be a photographer without him. My babies, the two most wonderful and amazing gifts I've ever received. Family and friends, that's what it's all about. I want to wish all of my clients a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year, and many more to come. Until next time

Botox Daddy

Don't you wish you could turn back time sometimes? I had some fun with this shot of Daddy and he looks like he's had a round of botox and a beer belly reduction!! OF COURSE I HAVE TO SAY THAT HE HAS NOR WILL HAVE PLASTIC SURGERY OF ANY KIND!!(yes, this includes botox) We're going a little silly here because of the rain! they say it was the biggest rain storm in 3 years but I think was the ONLY rain storm in 3 years!! Sorry R. I just had to post it!

Summer Days...

Oh how we're missing the Summer! After all the family have gone home to Australia and another rain storm hit So. Cal. I felt myself dreaming of the Summer months and so here we go, a look at the not so long ago past... My two to start, Little Miss. K. and Master R. - "the baby" of the family. Don't you remember putting your fingers in you ears to hear what everything sounds like?

Well that's what they say back home a lot and this week "I" was one! We were so excited to have some family from Australia stay with us this past week! This is Little Baby C and we loved having her here - except maybe for one of us who didn't want to share his new trains (you know who you are!).
